En mai 2015 aura lieu la réunion du Forum Européen des Groupes LGBT Chrétiens (Lesbiennes, Gays, Bisexuels et Transgenres) et les Journées Annuelles de Rencontre.
Le Forum Européen des Groupes LGBT Chrétiens est constitué de 40 associations réparties dans 20 pays de l’Europe de l’est, du sud, de l’ouest, du nord. Ces rencontres sont fortement œcuméniques mélangeant catholiques, protestants, orthodoxes, anglicans, …
Les précédentes réunions du Forum Européen ont été l’occasion d’un bouillonnement d
‘idées et d’échanges sur un grand nombre de thèmes : lutte contre les discriminations, méditations, prières, relations avec les Eglises chrétiennes, nos fois et nos doutes, les femmes, les jeunes, des partages de parcours personnels, notre implication dans les politiques locales…. Du 21 au 23 mai, des pré-conférences du Forum Européen aborderont différents thèmes :
- Pré-conférence « catholique » : Une rencontre destinée à celles et ceux qui souhaitent réfléchir aux actions spécifiques à mener, au niveau européen, pour une meilleure intégration des personnes LGBT dans l’Église catholique,
- Pré-conférence « femmes »,
- Pré-conférence « hommes »,
- Pré-conférence « trans ».
Les conférences du Forum Européen se tiendront du 23 au 25 mai. Simultanément, David & Jonathan tiendra ses Journées Annuelles de Rencontre qui auront pour thème : « Rencontres interculturelles, Babel ou Pentecôte? »
Au programme : ateliers, conférences, soirées festives, célébration œcuménique, et surtout de belles rencontres en perspective !

In May 2015, the annual conference of European Forum of LGBT Christian Groups (LGBT = Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) will be held in conjunction with the annual meeting (JAR) of the French group, David & Jonathan.
The European Forum is composed of 40 associations from 20 different countries from all parts of Europe. This conference is an ecumenical gathering with Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox, Anglicans…
The previous conferences of the European Forum have been occasions for sharing ideas on a wide range of topics: the fight against discrimination, relations with institutional Churches, meditati
on and prayer, our faiths and doubts, our involvement in local politics, our life experiences as women or men, young or old… (see the video → link).
From 21 to 23 May the 2015 pre-conferences will be of different types:
- 21-22 May, Catholic pre-conference: This is for people wanting to reflect on projects on a European level that promote better integration of LGBT people within the Roman Catholic Church,
- 22-23 May, Women’s Pre-conference,
- 22-23 May, Men’s Pre-conference,
- 22-23 May, Trans Pre-conference.
The 2015 Conference of the European Forum will take place from 23 to 25 May. Simultaneously, David & Jonathan will hold its annual meeting (JAR). The overall theme will be « Intercultural Contacts: Babel or Pentecost? ».
This will be a time for workshops, spiritual gatherings, conviviality, sharing… and making new friends!
